The National In-House Catfish Strategic Planning Workshop, a three-day event held at the BFAR National Inland Fisheries Technology Center in Tanay, Rizal, brought together members of the Philippine Catfish Producers Association (PCPA) to develop a comprehensive three-year strategic plan for the sustainable growth of the Philippine catfish industry. The workshop included presentations from industry experts, interactive sessions focusing on systems thinking and Kaizen principles, and collaborative planning to define the PCPA’s mission, vision, and operational structure. The resulting strategic plan, presented to the BFAR National Director, will guide the industry’s future development and ensure its long-term sustainability.
