In line with the Bureau’s commitment to sustainable and responsible aquaculture, the Center aims to address the findings of the BFAR In-House Assessment Team regarding its operations. These findings highlight issues and gaps in various areas, including the siting and design of facilities, sanitation, water use, farm management, feeds and feeding practices, mortality, disease control, the use of drugs and chemicals, harvesting and transport, biodiversity concerns, animal welfare, labor, and community involvement. The Center strives to comply with these recommendations to improve its overall operations and sustainability.
