The program promotes organic aquaculture for species such as Common Carp, Pangasius, and Giant Gourami. It focuses on the production of natural food, organic formulated feeds, plant meal, fish meal, and other farm inputs like vermicast fertilizer. The technology behind organic aquaculture will be shared through national training sessions attended by both male and female technicians from BFAR–Technology Outreach Stations (TOS) and selected local government unit (LGU) technicians. Additionally, hands-on training, technical assistance, and seminars for male and female fish farmers and fisherfolks will be conducted to further spread knowledge on these practices.
