The overall operation and administration of BFAR-NIFTC involves technical tasks and maintenance work to meet its goals. This includes organizing workshops, training, and seminars to build the capacity of stakeholders in freshwater aquaculture management, as well as providing technical assistance and conducting fish dispersal. The Center also produces and distributes IEC materials. Additionally, the maintenance of key facilities, including hatcheries, pond systems, broodcages, training buildings, laboratories, and farm equipment, is essential for the Center’s functioning.
